This is the classic deviled egg recipe we all grew up with. It still remains one of my favorite appetizers.
- 6 Hard Boiled Eggs (peel and cut in half lengthwise)
- ½ t Dry Mustard
- ¼ t Salt
- Dash Pepper
- 3 T Mayonnaise
- 1½ t White Vinegar
- ½ t Worcestershire Sauce
- Remove egg yolks from hard boiled eggs. Place these in a bowl with the mustard, salt, mayonnaise, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until smooth. Stuff egg-white halves with the yolk mixture. Sprinkle with paprika.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours or more for flavors to marry before serving.
Use a pastry bag to squeeze the yolk mixture into the egg whites for a professional looking touch.
