Ok, maybe this can be considered more of a recipe; but this consistently ends up being one of my daughter’s favorite craft activities at our Y Princess monthly meetings.  Also known as Snowman’s Soup, this is incredibly easy to set up for a group of kids.

 

Supplies

(for 10 children)

• 10 Seasonal Hot Cocoa Mugs
• 20 Mini Candy Canes (or 10 large)
• 20 packets of Cocoa Mix
• 1 bag Mini-Marshmallows
• 1 bag Chocolate Kisses
• 10 Cellophane bags (to hold mugs and contents)
• 10 strips Ribbon (6″ strips)

Directions

Have each of the kids grab a mug, 2 candy canes, 2 packets of hot cocoa, a half cup of marshmallows (or more), a few kisses, a bag, and a strip of ribbon.  Have them place all the goodies in the mug, then place the mug in the bag, and tie it up with the ribbon.  It doesn’t get much easier than that, and the girls love it.
