Getting ready for Halloween? Make a cute or scary spider using a small pumpkin.

Supplies

• Small pumpkin
• Black spray paint
• Black pipe cleaners
• Googley eyes
• Embellishments (optional, like sequins or beads)
• Hot glue gun or craft glue
• Drill or screwdriver

Directions

Clean pumpkins then spray paint the entire pumpkin black. Let dry completely. Drill two holes on each side of the pumpkin. Fold black pipe cleaners in half then insert one in each hole to make the eight legs. Bend the pipe cleaners to make them look like legs. Glue on the eyes or any other embellishments.

Tips

Embellishments can be used to make a mouth.

Make a family of spiders using different sizes of pumpkins.

Do not spray paint the pumpkins, just add the eyes and legs.
